URBDURO 2025. Year of the Chariot.

And you thought you knew what an URBDURO is...
...well that was then and this is now. Salus Tertia!
What you need to know:
Urbduro 2025 is being held on September 20th, 2025. It starts at 1PM. The starting location will be revealed approximately one week before the event.
In 2025, Urbduro is a team event. Your team will be composed of four (4) people. No more, no less.
To participate in Urbduro 2025, your four person team is required to bring a "chariot", as well as three bicycles. Your chariot could be one, or a combination of the following:
A bicycle trailer
A large format cargo bike
A sidecar
Something else
One cyclist will pull the chariot. Two cyclists will act as "outriders". And the fourth team member will ride inside the chariot. The chariot will be constructed so the rider sits down, no standing chariots permitted.
At various times throughout the event, team members will be required to change spots.
Costumes are encouraged and can be as simple as fun accessories or as wild and complex as you decide. Bonus points (and probably bonus beers) for Roman-themed costumes!
Ebikes are permitted, but only in certain circumstances that need special consideration - please contact us at custombikes@kruchexperience.com for further details. If you require an ebike to participate, we will work to accomodate you.

How to Win, Prizes:
1) Mention @urbduro, @kruchcustombicycles, and @Xhalebrewco on Instagram as your team builds your "chariot", constructs your costumes, and muses about what challenges you may encounter.
*Every Instagram mention is worth an entry into a draw, for a very nice prize.
2) Win the event.
The SINGLE WINNING PERSON of the event wins a custom KRUCH Custom Bicycle frame of their choosing, made to fit them, in whatever colour and configuration they can dream up - the deepest custom KRUCH offers. Estimated retail value of ~$2750.00 CAD, built for the winner in Summer 2026.
A final word:
Urbduro is not a race, it is a friendly competition designed to give bicycle enthusiasts a day of adventure, right in their backyard. The only thing you, the participant, should truly care about is having fun - which is our goal as well. At the end of the day's events, an incredible meal, curated music, and alot of laughs are waiting for participants. We hope to see you there!
Importantly, your "chariot" will ultimately haul cargo destined for doing good in our community. The more you can haul, the more good you can do, and the greater the chance of you winning.
